The trailer includes footage from the previous Game of Thrones season, as well as a glimpse from the much-anticipated new season that shows Jon Snow played by Kit Harington embracing a steely-eyed Sansa Stark , actress Sophie Turner at Winterfell.There is also a clip of Harington clambering over the top of a snowy mountain ledge.This is followed by fleeting glimpses of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister ducking a blow from someone wielding what appears to be a large wooden staff.Elsewhere the montage quickly moves through quick looks at Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen; Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister ; Peter Drinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark. And Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth.The other action shows Daniel Portman as hapless ward to Brienne of Tarth , Podrick Payne fighting an unseen attacker on a beach.And the teaser ends with a rear view of Jaime Lannister sitting with his back to the camera as what appears to be a giant storm heading his way, darkening the skies.Has winter arrived ?There is no dialogue or clues as to how the various characters interact for the series climax.The clips are interspersed with clips from other HBOP series returning for the 2019 season.Game of Thrones will return for its final six episodes in the first half of 2019.
